    Default Problems with PDF's

I'm using Freehand MX on Mac OS X. I've exported some FHMX docs as PDF's and
tried to open/import them again into Freehand but a message saying "could not
convert the document because a serious program error occurred". Is there any
way I can get around this problem?

Did you use File > Export to create the PDF? Will the PDF open in Acrobat?

I find that FHMX cannot correctly open many PDF files, particularly those
that contain spot colors and/or embedded fonts. I open them in Illustrator
10, save as Illustrator 7 file format and open the AI files in FHMX.

Let's hope FH 12 has better PDF support. :-/
