Default Problems with Stroke and Fill

Using ID CS 3.01 on Windows XP SP1, PIV 3.0 Ghz 512 RAM.

When right-clicking to access Stroke and Fill, InDesign crashes. Any other option can be selected to get the submenus open and can also be selected once it is open. Any attempt to pick Stroke and Fill causes InDesign to crash.

The operating system has been reinstalled and the problem exists in multiple documents, new and old. This machine is one of five hardware identical machines and the others work fine. Might anyone have some clue as to why Stroke and Fill would crash?

Default Re: Problems with Stroke and Fill

This isn't going to help you, but I've seen this behavior in the past
with some documents. Once it's there, it never seems to go away. The
only way I could get rid of it was to copy and paste everything to a new
    document.

The other workaround was to create the objects in a new file and copy
and paste them to to the old one.

That said, I only saw this in ID 2.0 documents. What you can try is to
export the document to InDesign Exchange format (INX) and then open that
    file in ID.
