Producing a CD - Macromedia Director Basics

I recently produced a CD in Macromedia flash and used a VB custom coded installset to install quicktime and acrobat. Now I want to get away if possible without providing the full install set for quicktime and maybe do the next one in director with Quicktime extras bundled into the projector......is this possible?     I recently produced a CD in Macromedia flash and used a VB custom coded installset to install quicktime and acrobat.

    Quicktime Player installation would still be required on target machines.
    Quicktime extras are nothing other than a bridge between Director and
    QuickTime Player.
