Producing a URL link in a PDF for emailing
Hello there.
I've often supplied straight display resolution PDF files of brochures we've designed for clients for them to email.
I've just been asked to supply an ebook for the first time. I understand that an ebook differs from a standard PDF because it can include interactive elements.
I've tried to create a URL link for starters, but my link is surrounded by a hairline black box on the PDF instead of the underline I was expecting.
This is obtrusive in the graphic design. How do I include a URL link without the black box?
Help appreciated
Kind Regrads

select 'invisible'.
This won't underline the link though - I usually colour link text
manually so it can be easily spotted.

A character style works well for this.> manually so it can be easily spotted.

*automatically* applies itself to text that is turned into a hyperlink?
Or would you still need to apply it by selecting the text first?

Yes, you would have to do that. But I suppose that could be scripted.
