Professional free trial offer - Adobe Acrobat Windows

I currently have 6.0 Standard. I tried to download the 30 day trial offer for Professional. Under downloads: <http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/main.html>. The install quits on me because it says that it detects an upgraded version (something like that). What am I doing wrong?...

Have you updated your Standard version to 6.01?

Maybe the trial version doesn't distinguish between 6 Pro and 6 Standard.

6 Pro is identical 6 standard in terms of look and feel, what were you wondering about Pro? Maybe we can answer your question.

I need to create a certificate but insert a form field for participants to type in their names (using Acrobat Reader).

Someone told me that Professional was the only way to create a doents with these specifications.

    Thanks

Professional is indeed the only way to add form fields. You want people to be able to print these certificates, right? Not save them?

Yes, just type in their name and print... No saving and no editing of any other portion of the certificate

Form field sounds like it will work great for what you want.

Now you don't need the tryout version just buy the upgrade since you know that's what you need.
