Properties/object/text - Macromedia Freehand

when i have text selected, i look on the object panel to adjust font, size, kerning line spacing etc. Under line spacing you have 3 options, + = and %. Normal space under % is 100 and if you use the dropdown to select the = it shows 12 (if you are using 12 font size). The problem i'm having is when the line spacing is on the = and i change the 12 to 14 and push enter, it jumps to 1000 instead of reading 14. Why is this happening? I'm used to freehand 10 which didn't have this problem. Another question i
have, is there a way to make the window that shows all the pages in your
doent on the doent tab bigger? Is this the only way you can arrange your
pages by dragging them around in this tiny window? Any help on these subjects
    would be most helpful.

    thanks

Are you on a PC? There's a bug that affects Windows XP only. See this
technote, search the page for "leading".

Work on the pasteboard using the Page Tool. Zoom out so you can see all your
pages and then drag them into position with the Page Tool. I like to turn on
View/Grid/Show Grid and Snap to Grid which helps in keeping everything
    neatly aligned.
