Protect files
Hi,
I need to distribute two projects, one on cd and one in a downloadable zip
file. Everything is ready to go except for the fact that all files for the
external media elements are unprotected. The director files are ok because
they were made into a projector .... it's the xml and mp3 files that are the
problem .... is there any way I can protect these and still get good
performance from them or is this just overkill?

Re: Protect files
There may be no neat and clean way to protect the external files, indeed
it might be 'overkill'. The XML and MP3 files could be made internal,
providing there are no external updates and the MP3 sound size would not
be an excessive ram load. The internal MP3 would not stream, there
could be a monentary delay as it's preloaded off disk.

Re: Protect files
Thanks for your swift response to my problem .... the more I think about it
the less I feel inclined to worry about these files.
I cannot change to internal files for the mp3's as they need to stream and
need to be updatable.
Thanks
