REGARDS ALL... BUKO LRK ...
...............
My situation is this:
i'm on a G5 Dual 2ghz with 1GB DDR . I had upgraded my 10.2.8 to PANTHER only to notice a significant slow-down in performance in PHOTOSHOP CS.
I posted this question before and was given a few tips, of which i haven't learned how to put to use, might
someone be able to clarify this or give new advice?
I WAS TOLD TO:
TRASH ADOBE PREFERENCES
TRASH FINDER PREFERENCES
DELETE CACHE FILES with MACJANITOR
and
SOMETHING ABOUT PERMISSIONS
............................
what and where are these files, what is permissions?
how do i run these things and how might they help my CONFIG...
any other advice is more than welcome

Re: PS.CS SLOW on Panther .. Adobe Preferences Help Please
Aerosyn-Lex,
Is that 10.3.3?
Boot off your install disk and go to disk utilities in the menu bar, do the disk first aid and repair permissions. Then quit and reboot.
If you have 10.3.3 there are updated permissions in Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities
I would also repair permissions there too.
Is the machine left on 24/7?
Hope you get some speed back,
John
