PS files don't open when double clicked

I'm not sure if this is a PS or OS 10.3.3 issue. If I click on a PS file within a finder window PS will launch but the file doesn't open. I have the same problem when I right click on a file and say open with PS, it launches the program, but no file opens. This just started a few days ago and its annoy the he** out of me. I'm using CS.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
