PS web photo gallery
I'm new to "developing" - a term I use very roughly as I have such a surface
knowledge. I just want to create a family site. I have CS2 - would like to link
to a "web photo gallery" from my index page. Have very rough knowledge of
folders/ directories. I just don't know where to store the wpg files as I'm not
sure where the index file created with Contribute resides. Is there an easy way
to link to a wpg once created? And how do I edit the file? Any insight would be
much appreciated!!

Re: PS web photo gallery
I think I'm in the same boat.
Our organization currently uses Microsoft Frontage to upload image galleries.
We would like our staff to use only one piece of software for creating their
websites, but as far as I can see, there are no options for creating image
galleries with Contribute. The word "gallery" isn't even found when doing a
help search.
If there are any alternatives, preferably that don't cost any money, I'd also
be interested.

Re: PS web photo gallery
just generate wpg's. then put them, as generated into the root folder of your
site:
site folder
wpg folder 1
wpg folder 2
etc
on your home page, just create links to each of the index pages of your wpg's.
if you are able to modify the template you are using for your wpg, add a link
back to your site home page (I'd explain this further, but how you do this
depends on which template you are using).
