PS5 > Elements or PS7?

I'm currently using Photoshop 5 on my G4. It's great, but lacks in the bulk editing of my digital photos.

I downloaded the trial version of Elements2 and love the way it thumbnails my images for easy viewing and editing. I also like the way it easily builds photo albums for the web. Other than that Most everything else is manipulated the same as in PS5...

I'm curious If I'd get the thumbnails and photo album features by upgrading to PS7, or are they unique to Elements?

What other features are unique to Elements?

The only thing that Elements has that full photoshop does not have is an option called 'photomerge' for creating panoramas etc..

PS7 has worthwhile options not available in Photoshop Elements. Photoshop Elements is more than a basic editing program though. There are many free add-ons and plug ins for this program which makes it the best next to full photoshop. Whatever you do, stick with Adobe and you'll be fine.

Also, Elements has recipes to help for certain taks, PS7 doesn't, and
Elements 2 has a selection brush, and PS7 doesn't.

Ray, the 2 things i never use in PE1 ;)

I didn't think of it 'cause Pe1 does not have the selection brush tool.
