Publishing Problem
Hello, i'm kinda new to director, and i was wondering how to export my project so that it will work on a pc and a mac. I am on a pc, and when i publish my finished piece of work, it comes out with an .exe extention, however this file will not work on a mac. Does anyone know how to make it so that it works on both??? Thanks,
Trish

Re: Publishing Problem
Trish,
First of all, go through the help file and check out the section titled
"Packaging movies for Distribution". Then search the tech notes on the MM
web site, and also search the NG archives at:

Re: Publishing Problem
if you want a projector to work in both platforms, you will have to get a
copy of Director for Mac and make the projector there.
Do a search on "cross platform" in this newsgroup.

publishing problem
I have been happily working away on our website updating it with new photo's
for past few days, for some reason I am now unable to add anymore photo's.I am
doing exactly as I have done on all the photo's I have added previously but
when I try to publish, it is telling me that the file either "Acess denied. The
file may not exist or their could be a permission problem", when I select the
"retry" button, another message comes up saying " their is an unknown error
with Contribute". Even if I attempt to upload a photo that I have uploaded
before, I encounter the exact same problem. Also if I go to a page as if I am
to edit it, but do absolutely nothing to it and select publish, the exact same
problems occur. The only option I have is to cancel. At the moment I have no
means of changing our website, any solutions to this problem will be grateful.
