Publishing problem: white screen
I've been using Contribute for quite some time and recently encountered a
publishing problem: when I click "Publish" on the homepage, Contribute tells me
that the page is successfully published, but when I click "OK" the page
refreshes and I'm looking at a completely white screen! (When I check the site
in a browser, the screen is blank there as well.)
All users editing this site in Contribute have this problem; any ideas what
could be causing it?

Re: Publishing problem: white screen
Hi,
Can you tell me what type of pages are you trying to edit in contribute, like
static pages, or pages with server side includes or template based pages etc.
Also can you please provide the connection type that you are using for the
connection.

Re: Publishing problem: white screen
Thanks for your response. I'm having the problem with only one page on the
site: the homepage. It's a static php page that contains some dynamic
content. It also contains a Flash header. We connect via FTP.
Another item to note: I maintain a related site that includes the exact same
elements listed above and is built the exact same way and yet gives me no
trouble. I'm wondering if the file has simply been corrupted.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Publishing problem: white screen
A simple solution: Using Dreamweaver, I removed whitespace in the HTML code. That fixed the problem.
