Pulling in data from another http:// site?? - Macromedia ColdFusion

If I wanted to use the address users enter, and then send that to the US Postal Service site to obtain the zip code, how could I capture that info, and then pull it into the correct field on a form? Just curious. Someone I was talking to mentioned doing something like this recently. Steve...

Use CFHTTP to retrieve the content and then p that for the info you want
(using regular expression or plain old find).

Many places like UPS, FEDEX, USPS and CANADA POST all have little widgets
available to figure out things like ZIP/POSTAL code and shipping rates. You may
need to contact their IT people/WebMasters, but most will usually try to help
    you.

You likely could also find something in the MM Extensions area.

Parsing a CFHTTP will work too, but sometimes it can get a bit 'messy',
especially if they all of a sudden change their site output.
