Pulling only negative numbers from a db
I have a field in my db that stores both negative numbers and positive numbers.
I want to sum only the negative numbers. Is there a way to do this. I know a
simple sum query
<CFQUERY NAME="GetSun" DATASOURCE="myds">
SELECT sum(days) as total
</CFQUERY>
if my values in the db are
5
5
-10
-2
I get a return of -2
I am trying to only sum
-10 and -2 so I can get a return value of -12 and have it ignore the positive
numbers in the sum. is this doable?

Re: Pulling only negative numbers from a db
Just filter out the numbers greater than zero.
SELECT sum(days) as total WHERE days < 0
