PURLs and Microsite Landing Pages

I need to create several thousand Personalized URLs (PURLs) such as
"http://domain.com/dante45chicago", all hosted on a virtual Unix server. Each
PURL has a microsite with a personalized landing page (i.e. "Welcome 'Dante' to
your Home Page...blah blah blah"). Each microsite is the same for every PURL
except for the personalization elements (which can be graphics, text, photos
ext). Other than this each microsite is identical.

I do not need a solution for creating the personalized urls since there is off
the shelf software that does this already.

Is there some kind of Dreamweaver CS3 plugin that can assist in automating the
creation of each microsite? Or can this be done using dynamic html tags and
some type of MySQL database, and if so, is there a plugin/script or solution
for that some can indentify for me?

I am not knowledgable on XHTML.

Any ideas would be helpful and most appreciated. My apologies if I posted this
in the wrong group but I am seeking a plugin that's why it's posted here.

Hi Dante. I have the opposite problem of you.

I do not need a solution for creating the personalized urls since there is off
the shelf software that does this already.

What I need its a software that only generates the PURL because in my work we have a designers team that code HTML.

What software did you use??
