I sort of thought about that. However, my previous router, a Linksys
BEFSX41 didn't have that configured (I just used the default settings)
and everything worked fine. Daughter 1 can send and receive files to
daughter two via the wireless thru AIM inside our home (living room to
computer room) but neither one can send or receive files to others
outside of our home. However, with the "old" router, no problems.
Weird. The idea of 4 college girls using the wireless and having the
DMZ wide open so that they can use AIM is a frightening thought. Got to
    be another way.
