Q. on Olympus Quick Flash AFL Charger - Photography

I feel a bit silly posting such an ignorant question, but this one really has me going. I tried Google searches on this camera, but didn't turn up the solution. Maybe someone experienced with these old cameras can shed some light. I found a nice looking Olympus Quick Flash AFL at the thrift shop last week for only $2. After fiddling with if for 15 minutes I still couldn't figure out how to put the batteries in, so of course I bought it. I love a good puzzle. Default Q. on Olympus Quick Flash AFL Charger

I feel a bit silly posting such an ignorant question, but this one really has
me going. I tried Google searches on this camera, but didn't turn up the
solution. Maybe someone experienced with these old cameras can shed some light.

I found a nice looking Olympus Quick Flash AFL at the thrift shop last week for
only $2. After fiddling with if for 15 minutes I still couldn't figure out how
to put the batteries in, so of course I bought it. I love a good puzzle.

It turns out to have rechargable batteries permanently wired in, hence no need
for a battery compartment door. But now the puzzle is that there doesn't seem
to be any place to attach a recharger to the camera. No electrical connector of
any sort that I can find.

How do they do it? Where do I connect the recharger?

    Cheers to all !

The "permanently" built-in battery is a lithium cell.
    These are not rechargeable.

They were formerly replaced by Olympus service facilities.
I'm sure they have discontinued service by now,
but they might tell you who will service them.

If you are handy with a soldering iron
you may be able to replace it yourself,
provided the battery is still available...

    Excelsior, you fatheads!
