Query yser - Getting hold of a copy - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

Hi, I'm currently working on an Access ADP project linked to a database held on a SQL 2000 Server. AT the moment, to use the query yser I have to work on the server which is a pain and something I'd rather not be doing. Is it possible to use Query yser on a client machine? Can I get it from MS website or do I have to install it from the original Small Business Server 2000 CD's that were supplied with the server. Many thanks Chris S....

Default Query yser - Getting hold of a copy

    Hi,

I'm currently working on an Access ADP project linked to a database held on
    a SQL 2000 Server.

AT the moment, to use the query yser I have to work on the server which
is a pain and something I'd rather not be doing.

Is it possible to use Query yser on a client machine? Can I get it from
MS website or do I have to install it from the original Small Business
Server 2000 CD's that were supplied with the server.

    Many thanks

You can install the SQL Server client tools on any machine as long as you
have a license for Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition. I assume the
version that comes with SBS is Standard Edition, so you can install Query
yzer and all the other tools on your desktop.
