Question about animated a flag waving in the air

I guess this would be the area where I would ask this question, How would I go
abouts making a flag that has my logo on it wave in the air. I am new to
actionscript so go easy on me, :) If there is any tutorials that would be great
also.

Man shall not live my actionscript alone .. well, he cannot wave flags just
via just actionscript.

If you want to do it in flash, you'd need to split the flag image into piece
(eg vertical strips may be good enough) then animate these by offsetting and
scaling them appropriately to get a continuous waving effects. Its not
trivial to do, though.
