Question about internet users vs localy loged on users - Windows Server

I have not bought 2003 yet but will real soon and i am confused. 1. Can any number of people log on to my site. 2. If i buy a verson with 5 cal can ONLY 5 people access my computer at any time...

    Hi,

    It depends how you will configure your new Web server, but in general yes,
    anyone will be able to visit your website. For anonymous access users don't
    need CALs.

    If you can do a clean install instead of upgrade.

    It will be a cleen install and my system (old AT) died a very vilent death
    two weeks ago :( . And of corse not much money in my PC buget right now to
    buy complete system so one pice at a time.

    You can't upgrade a workstation OS to any server OS....or am I misreading
    the prior post?

    Hi,

    Good point :-).

    Well I had some security features in mind that doesn't get upgraded from
    Windows 2000 (server) to Windows 2003 server (e.g. some IIS security
    features).
