question about PS 8 upgrade

I had bought PS 7 a few weeks ago, I wondered if there would be a free
upgrade being I bought it close to PS8 shipping date? Ok stop laughing :-)

I did the same thing with premire a few years ago. they announced a new version within about a month after i bought it. it'll bug the begeebies outta you, but you'll get over it! :)

They really should tell you to wait a couple of weeks if they see an order come in right before the upgrade.

I heard in PS8, you'll be able to add sound to image files.

And there's a rumored instruction manual for ImageReady.

And help files that are really more helpful than the book.

And the new instruction manual will be called TFM.

You can already do that in 7. See the audio annotation tool in the toolbox.

Can you save to any format other than PSD?

yes, I save pictures to jpg usually, sometimes bitmap and tiff.

Cheesefood. Audio annotations appear to be compatible with PS and PDF files only. You cannot play an audio annotation from a JPG as Cats suggests.
