Re: Question about uploading flash website to host
yes and no. To upload your flash site you will need FTP software but this may
be provided by your host or there are many places you can get it free on the
internet. Do a google search on "FTP software" and you will find many sources.
If you want to modify the HTML that Flash creates, you can do this in WordPad
or other simple software. You do not have to modify the HTML to publish if you
don't want to. Flash creates enough HTML for you to make the site functional.

Re: Question about uploading flash website to host
RLC is right...
But, it really depends on your host. You don't have to use FTP to upload
anything. You can always go to your 'site manager' or whatever it is called for
you. The place where you can add pages and edit pages (html).
You Do have to upload the original .swf that is in the html of your page. And
within the html (published) of your .fla file you need to add your server link
to the beginning of the movie 'Value" tag.
Like this example <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="http://www.yoursite.com/your.swf">
But there is no special software to do this, just edit it with Notepad,
Wordpad, or whatever is on your machine. Really easy stuff!
Personally I think the Only HTML editor is 'Edit Plus'. I sure makes things
easy to see.

Re: Question about uploading flash website to host
I don't use Frontpage myself. Do an advanced search on these forums on the word "frontpage". I noticed it appears in a lot of posts.

What?! What are you talking about? Perhaps your ISP provides this service,
but for most, you certainly WILL need to FTP your files to your server.
There are plently of free FTP clients around - search cnet. Or use the old
DOS prompt. That's my fave....not!

Re: Question about uploading flash website to host
Just an FTP client. Flash files are put oin the web just like images. They just need a little bit more involved HTML.
