Questions about QT

Dear QT Programmers,

I am new to QT programming. I have used it a long time ago. Please help me
figure out how to stream a sequence of bitmaps {which currently save out
to jpeg format} to a .mov file encoded with the MPEG 4 compression
algoritm. I am looking at the compression manager currently, but am not
sure if this is the route to be going down. Any help would be greatly
appreciated, and if this is not the proper forum, please direct me to the
proper forum.
