It's always good to have a 'methodology' for building a site, especially if you
need outside people to work together. A standard is a good thing. In my opinion
FuseBox is too much overhead and complexity especially in light of CFC
components that weren't available when FuseBox was first developed. You should
be able to implement any of the many time tested OO design patterns into a CF
site with careful directory and component development. Using for example; using
a MVC design pattern should make it fairly easy for an outside experienced
developer to get a handle on the site and be able to contribute fairly quickly,
provided the site is documented. So, in short I don't think it matters what
'methodology' is used, as long as the site 'methodology' is documented and
organized, and built using the lastest 'best practices'.
