Quickdraw in CGContexts - Mac Programming

Hi, I'm looking for a way to get a QuickDraw port from a CGContext. I know the opposite is fairly easy using CreateCGContextForPort. I cannot use a QDView because the purpose is not only to draw on screen, but also to call methods like DrawThemeButton and Quicktime functions for an offscreen context created by CGBitmapContextCreate. Any help will be appreciated. Regards, Eric...

    Default Quickdraw in CGContexts

    Hi,

I'm looking for a way to get a QuickDraw port from a CGContext. I know the
opposite is fairly easy using CreateCGContextForPort. I cannot use a QDView
because the purpose is not only to draw on screen, but also to call methods
like DrawThemeButton and Quicktime functions for an offscreen context
    created by CGBitmapContextCreate.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards,

If you want to use Quickdraw you need a GWorld to get a port. You should
make a GWorld and then build a CGBitmapContext with the bits of the
    GWorld.

Thanks but this method will work for offscreen, not with on screen contexts,
