    Default QuickTime Install

    Greetings,

Trying to get a button to install QuickTime.

I have the "QuickTime" application in the same folder. I just can't
figure out the Lingo to make this happen on a mouse click.

I have checked the help and messed with it for hours only to get script
    error messages.

    Help??

If on Windows and Mac OS9, it is as simple as:

    open the moviePath &"QuickTimeInstaller.exe"

If on Mac OSX I think it's something like:

    open the moviePath & "QuickTime.pkg" with "installer.app"

But you might want to check the archives to see more discussions about it.

If you have a 3rd party Xtra such as Buddy API, DirectOS, or FileXtra, you
can use their equivalent to Lingo's 'open' to run a program. These Xtras
provide you with a helpful return code while 'open' doesn't.
