Quicktime Midi track "muting"
Any midi experts here???
Does anyone know how to temporarily stop the data output during playback of a midi-only quicktime file and later "un-mute" that track such that it data then continues without re-cueing to the beginning of the midi song???
The answer seems rather elusive.
in other words if the playback of the quictime midi track was in seconds:
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 and one wants to temporarily "mute" the data output of seconds 4,5,6 and turn-on the midi playback at second 7-8-9...
xtras are an o.k. solution if necessary, but since QT midi is already playing through to my midi device it would seem like there must be a Lingo trick to this.
Ideas???
