    Default Quicktime Movies

    Hello,

I have a problem with using quicktime movies in my director application. I
have imported them just like any other file - but when I use the application on
another computer the quicktime movies don't appear. Do I have to add the
movies files onto a disk, or import them in another way?

    Cheers,

When you import a QT movie it just imports a reference to the file, therefore
you need to include the QT movies with the projector. the easiest way to do
this is to put in the same folger as the projector. Also you have to make sure
that the machine you are running the CD n has Quictime installed. If they don't
have quicktime installed the will just see a big red X

    Hi,

Actually a good rule of thumb is to plan everything before starting
development your project, especially your file and folder structures. For the
things which can't be embedded directly into your movie it is important to keep
their relative paths while moving or copying your project. DON'T separate your
folders later if you have something linked by relative paths /at least not to
    see those red X's/
    :-)
