Quicktime player
As a newie to director, I need help with the following - I have created a
presentation with a quicktime movie embedded, but how & if poss, how do I
bundle the quicktime player on the CD, easy explanations please.

Sorry there is no "easy" explanation. You need to test for QuickTime and run
the QuickTime installer (which you put on your CD-ROM) if it is not found. You
can licence the QuickTime installer from Apple for free. A sample of creating a
