Quiz Help!!!
Somebody please help, I'm a poor graphics student that has somehow found
himself having to do an assessment involving Macromedia Director. I'm
completely lost, looked at almost every Director site I could find and the
lecturer is a complete A-Hole.
I have to make a basic multiple choice quiz, where 4 possible answeres, 5
questions in total and two points for each question answered correctly. A
wrong answer should have no bearing on the score, it should just ,ove to the
next question without effecting the score.
From what I have read there seems to be an easier way to do it; using a text
field to generate the questions. However the way I have to do it is, by
clicking on the correct answer (a button beside the text answer) it moves to
the next question and caculates 2 points, visible on an on-screen text
field. My lecturer keeps refering to something known as gScore???
And help would be much appreciated.

Re: Quiz Help!!!
the 'g' prefix in gScore suggests it's a global variable that would hold
the running tally ( though the value could be as well fould in the
field displaying it )
if you have a frame label over each question, with a "go to the frame"
looking score script at each question:
--- right button script:
on mouseUp
global gScore
gScore = gScore + 2
put gscore into field "scoreDisplay" -- a member name
go next
end
--- wrong button script (no score change):
on mouseUp
go next
end
The marker following the last question whould show "Done" page
