Random Linked Text File Error
Hi
I have an Access 2000 database that has a link to a text file. When I'm using my web application at random times I see an error message which looks like this
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The text file specification 'xxxxxxx Link Specification' does not exist. You cannot import, export, or link using the specification.
I don't know what is causing this error. Usually when this error occurs if I refresh the page, everything will work fine. My application just supports about five users with (at the present) the maximum concurrent users limited to three users. The error happens frequently on a NT 4 machine where the user does a lot of data entry in one session (about once for every 6 records keyed in). On other machines, it doesn't happen so often (maybe once every two-three weeks).
Really appreciate any help and advice to solve this
thanks in advance
