raster to vector software
does anyone know if adobe plans on coming out with suiteable vectorizing software> we all know that streamline blows. shillouette is the best plug-in at the moment but is anything coming out by adobe? people need logos vectorized all the time and you would think adobe would make good software for this, not deadware like streamline. what would be awesome woule be a free vectorizing plug-in since we give adobe enough money. wink wink, nudge nudge. please keep me posted.
thanks!

Re: raster to vector software
I think streamline does a fine job. It is getting a bit long in the tooth, and since hardware has become much more capable since Streamline was last updated, it could certainly use an overhaul and OSX compatibility.

Re: raster to vector software
Streamline is the goods in my book. After years of manually tracing templates with Illustrators joke of an autotrace tool, I have saved countless hours with the help of Streamline.
Yes it needs more attention from Adobe (OS-X compatibility) but hey, it works GREAT in Classic mode, and if you pump up the memory, it can handle very complex files.
I swear by it

What don't you like about Streamline?
Works great for me, even with colored artwork.

but is anything coming out by adobe?
This question has been posted again and again, without official response. And I don't think we'll get one until they actually release something (or if ...).
