Raw 2.1, EOS 1d & Fotostation

Over the last few years I have entered IPTC data to various Canon original raw TIFFs using Fotostation 4.5 in Mac OS9 (now X). I can view the (Kodak) DCS 520 captions but not the newer EOS 1d files. I'm told that the 2.1 plug-in solves this problem - well for iView and Photo Mechanics users at least. Any ideas please?

Unfortunately, I can't offer an answer to your query, but isn't a "raw TIFF" an oxymoron? Either you shoot RAW or you shoot TIFF (or JPEG), I would think.

Nope...at the beginning Canon had this great idea to name Raw files as .tiff. Now they wised up and raw files are now named .crw
