Default ReadExcel.cfm Error

Hi,

I'm trying to read an Excel file into CF using Ben Forta's ReadExcel.cfm in AM
CFMX7 AD, but am getting the error below. I've tried DATABASE=Sales.xls (moved
xls to same dir as cfm). Eventually this file will be used to update a DB.

Where is there more info on this special type of FROM?

I'm also trying to automate reading this Excel file from an IMAP email. Since
there is no cfimap with documentation, any suggestions? I'm working with
another group that can't use WDDX or web services for about another year :(

Thanks,
Ren

Pierre,

ReadExcel.cfm works fine; see
http://forums.forta.com/messages.cfm?threadid=E628832C-3048-80A9-EF4BDFBE4CE4ED1
3. The file is also on Ben's site

What would a good detective do?

Beware of numbers as text (phone numbers). After I imported to SQL Server 2k,
some showed in exponential notation (8.00555e+0 instead of 8005551212). Also
Access has problems reading a column of alternating letters, numbers, and empty
cells.

Kind regards,
Ren
