Recognise a logged in user
Hi
How do I recognise a logged in user on a Windows network. The clients
are running XP/IE6. Server is NT Server 2000 / IIS.
The Situation is :-
I have written an application that allows users to request training
towards their CPD, it allows them to enter business case, cost,
provide details of supplier etc and they also do an evaluation at the
end.
At the moment the application maintains its own userlist and passwords,
which the user creates the first time they use the application but I
really want to tie this into the Network security. I therefore could
do with some pointers as what system variables are available to me.
Any help or pointers to existing documentation would be of great
benefit.
TIA
