Rectangle selection for scaling in Illustrator 9.0.2
I've searched the forum before posting this question. Please accept my apologies in advance if this is too elementary, or has been asked before. I want to scale a rectangle by clicking and dragging on one of its bounding boxes. According to the Help and every book I've consulted, it couldn't be more simple: use the selection tool, click on one of the bounding boxes and drag to resize (scale) the rectangle. Well, I must be learning-impaired, because when I follow the instructions, all I can do is move the rectangle, not scale it. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!
