redhat 5.3 :) ssh - Linux / Unix Administration

Hi , guys i "must" install sshd on redhat 5.3 and i don't have any idea if it is supported and if such thing exists by redhat 5.3.Do u have any ideas and any link for such rpm. I know that 5.2 is old , but i am not the chef :) thanks...

    guys i "must" install sshd on redhat 5.3 and i don't have any idea if

    I don't know about an rpm, but building OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 from source
    should work.

    Shortly before the OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 release I installed my test box from
    the oldest Redhat CD I could find (3.0.3, kernel 1.2.something), and
    fixed the problems it uncovered. The only issue was that mmap() on
    those kernels is broken, so you'll need to disable either compression
    or privilege separation. (I didn't bother submitting a bug report since
    they ignored my 2.0 descriptor-passing bug :-)
