Reducing moiré effect in Elements 1 ?
Hi, I have Elements version 1, and I was wondering what the best method of
reducing moiré effect is. Currently, I deal with it by scanning at very
high resolution (1200 dpi) and then using Gaussian Blur until moiré is
mostly gone (not completely). Then I use a light unsharp mask (if needed)
and then I resize the image down to the smaller, desired size.
Please let me know if there is a better way to do this. Does Elements 2
have a built in function? How well does it work? Do any other programs out
there have a built in function?
Thanks,
Craig
