Default reformating pages after deleting one in a long document

I had to delete one page in a long document and I don't know of an easy way to reformat the remaining pages...all LHS have become RHS and visa versa. The spreads are based on masters with the RHS and LHS differing slightly. I can't seem to get things to match up once I remove the unwanted page.

    Thanks

Default Re: reformating pages after deleting one in a long document

Check to see if you have Layout Adjustment enabled. This must be enabled before you delete the page. If it's enabled, ID will try and adjust your pages to fit the margins of your master pages, when the text shifts from left to right. If you aren't using your margins as guides for the major text blocks, then you are probably out of luck and will have to readjust your pages manually.

Also, if you have text frames on your master, there is a good chance they will get repeated on your pages. In this case it would be a good idea to make a copy of that master just to have a duplicate in case you need to add new pages and delete the text frames off. This will not affect text on your pages.
