It's more that all the ISV's take time to certify their apps on Solaris
9, and no one wants to upgrade and risk being told by their vendor that
their app isn't supported on S9 when they call for help, since the
vendor doesn't believe in Sun's Compatibility Guarantee (or doesn't
qualify since they used undocumented/unsupported API's).

About to buy FMS soon! - When is release of FMS 3?

If its that close, Don't expect being optimized of Intel Mac's. Will run on Roseta though. for those of us still on PowerPC's should be interesting. -
