relinking screwing up object layers
I'm having to re-link my images in my document and when i do this any photoshop file that I have multiple layers that I have already set up gets reset- it turns all the layers on and i have to go through object layer options turning layers off again.
Does anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong or how I can get around this time wasting problem?

Are you using Layer Comps out of Photoshop?

Re: relinking screwing up object layers
In the dialog where you turn on or off layers of aPSD there is an option at the bottom where you state whether you want to see InDesigns layer choice (i.e. yours) or the one saved in the PSD.
The default setting is that an update means you see Photoshop's visible layers and not the ones you turned visible.
