Reload Extensions shortcut in DW8?
In MX and MX2004, one could force a Reload of Extensions by ctl-clicking
the Options icon of the Insert bar. Not so in DW8. Anyone know the
magical spot to click now? Thanks.

That still works in the "Show as menu" mode of the insert bar, just not
in the "Show as tabs" mode.

Hi Massimo. You probably do not recall that we met in Santa Barbara,
Calif., I guess it was, at a MM event where we were up for Best
Extension Awards? 1998? earlier? That was back when MM wooed Extension
Developers and made nice to us. Back when it had heart.

A corporation doesn't have any heart, at that time MM just had more> That was back when MM wooed Extension

resources, it was a matter of money, not heart :-))

Re: Reload Extensions shortcut in DW8?
As recently ss 2000? And of course it was, in part, at the Monterey
Aquarium, so Monterey is correct.
It seems to me that MM has piddled away far more in lost opportunity
than it could possibly have cost them in dollars to wine and dine
independent developers. The business model they chased after, altho
pervasive today, is not an admirable one in my opinion.
But then I never was much of a buiness person.

I tend to agree, I just don't think in the past it was so much better> The business model they chased after, altho

Re: Reload Extensions shortcut in DW8?
I hate to be an idiot, but on my Mac I cannot find a way to bring up the
"Reload extensions" shortcut for Dreamweaver 8. I am in "show as menu" mode.
I see no "options menu" (what usually shows up in the upper right hand corner).
For what it's worth, quitting and restarting DW 8 doesn't seem to change my
extensions (I'm trying to edit the "insertbar.xml" file).
