Every time I access a password-protected resource on the
Web, I am prompted to enter my username and password. I
do so then click "remember password". However, the next
time I access said resource, I am prompted again to enter
my username and password. When I checked the password
list in my user account, it is empty.

Why is my system not remembering my passwords?
