Default Remembering the height of the display area when using "fit width"

    Hi,

I'd like acrobat to remember the height of my display area when I use "fit width", so that I don't have to scroll down each page. Indeed, the actual text fit in the height when I choose "fit width".

It works in Apple's Preview: when you move on to the next page, Preview display it at the same height as the previous page.

In Acrobat, you can only do this backward, using the "Previous view" button.

    Greetings,

Default Re: Remembering the height of the displayarea when using "fit width"

ok, I found the solution (kind of).

Go to the page display preferences, choose default zoom: "fit visible" and max fit visible zoom 95%. It should do the trick. Maybe you have to try different percentage values to get what you want, depending on your display.

I choose once "view -> fit visible" and I then can use the command-left/right arrow to navigate, and the page is almost perfectly zoomed. Though I still don't know why it works. The zoom it a bit higher than the middle of the page.
