Remote Desktop Connectivity
I have Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition running Active
Directory and Exchange 2003 Enterprise on the same
server.
My problem is, when users try to remote in to the DC, the
remote desktop session logs on then immediately logs off
again. This is true for both domain users and domain
admins.
If I look in the Security Log in Event Viewer it does not
show any errors and only shows when a user connects, logs
in, and logs out.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?
Thanks!

Check the properties of the RDP-tcp settings under Administrative Tools >
Terminal Services Configuration > Sessions tab.

Re: Remote Desktop Connectivity
Hello,
Do you happen to use an nVidia Video card? If so, disable the nVidia Display
Driver Service.

Had the exact same problem on my 2003 server. It ended up being my video> I have Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition running Active

card driver. I have a nvidia card, but have also heard some radeon cards
doing the same thing. Revert back to an older driver or a basic vga driver
if you have a higher end video card.
