Remove Acrobat-bar i Office 2004
Hi there,
When I installed Acrobat Professional 7 on my Mac it added an Acrobat-bar in Office 2004, more specifically Office Word, where you can save the document as a PDF-file. Now I use the Mac OS X printing ability to create my PDF's, so I want to remove this bar from Word. I've scoured the settings, in Office as well as Acrobat, but I can't find any setting that turns this feature off. How do I go about to remove this?
Thank you in advance,

Re: Remove Acrobat-bar i Office 2004
To Turn off Permanently
You Find file:
Locate three files named PDFMaker should be one for Word,Excel and PowerPoint.
Create three empty folders and name them exactly the same as each of the PDFMaker Files you find. Example the one for word would be named PDFMaker.dot.
Now while find file is open locate the path of each file. when you are at location of a given file remove it to trash. Move Like named folder you created to its position in the folder original item was.
Move on to net item and repeat. And so on. Until each has been replaced.
Now empty Trash.
Now open Word, Excel, PowerPoint.the menu item should now be gone.
If file is just thrown away, either Acrobat or Word/PowerPoint, Excel, will regenerate them.
This trick of replacing a file with a Folder is a UNIX Feature in which you can not replace a folder with a file of the same name.
As long as you do not reload, or load a new system from Systems disk. This will remain in effect.

Re: Remove Acrobat-bar i Office 2004
Andreas,
What Phillip said will work. The PDF toolbar on the Mac is pretty
lame. However, if you print to the Adobe PDF 7 printer instance you
will get a much more useful pdf file. You will also have much more
control over the final pdf file. I recommend you give it a try.
