    Default Remove contribute files

    :confused;
    How can I remove all files Contribute places in my site? I no longer want to manage the site through contribute and would like to clean up all unnecessary files that are leftover.

    Default Re: Remove contribute files

    I could not see any option in contribute to clean up contribute created files.
    You can send an email to <wish-contribute@macromedia.com> for enhancements and
    this is really valuable one for further versions of contribute.

    Work Around:
    -----------------
    Go to the site directory location (on server where your site is residing) and
    remove the following files manually.

    1. robots.txt (File)
    2. _mm* (Folders, if any)
    3. _notes (Folder, if any)
    4. _baks (Folder, if any)
    5. MMWIP (Folder, if any)

    All these temporary files are created at the root location of your site.
