Remove need for Virtual Directories - Coldfusion Server Administration

Hi All, Many moons ago I developed a website for a publishing company. Default Remove need for Virtual Directories

    Hi All,

Many moons ago I developed a website for a publishing company. Due to the
nature of the business they were adding new subject areas to the site and were
requiring nice URLs for their marketing material. I set up each new subject
area as a virtual directory pointing to a default template folder on the
server. This all works fine. However, each time they want to set up a new
subject they have to come to me and get the virtual directory all set up. I
want to create a CMS tool for them that allows new subject pages to be created
with a nice URL but without having to use the virtual directory set up.

Is there something in coldfusion administrator I can take advantage of to do
this? Has anyone encountered a similar scenario, sure in the coldfusion world
    someone must have!

    Thanks guys.

sounds like you're talkng about Search engine Safe
having directories in the URL rather than ?pageID=1 etc
