Remove references to .mac in OS? - Mac Applications & Software

I understand that Apple wants to make some money with selling services through their .mac program. Nevertheless, for those who really do not want to use .mac is there some way to remove all the .mac references found in the OS (Mac OS X) and some apps (e.g. iPhoto)? -- Georg Schwarz http://home.pages.de/~schwarz/ de +49 177 8811442...

    If I knew how, I would love to remove the iDisk menu from MacOS
    9 dialogs as used by navigation services. Anyone...?
